I have been a regular here for probably five years. I believe this is the best Chinese food in the Albuquerque area for the money. I enjoy all the combo meal options and the lunch specials are great.

The food here is pretty decent but the service really brings this place over the top. We got our our order to go and the order was done on time, was correct and we got service with a smile. There is a definite lack of good Asian food in Rio Rancho and, while this place won't make your taste buds go wild, it will do a decent job off satisfying those random fried rice cravings!

Food was okay, service was okay, servings are small. I have had much better Chinese food in ABQ and my favorite in Rio Rancho is by far Taos off of southern in the albertsons.

Horrible. Worst food. I'm not even sure if it was chicken. They've really gone down hill. A no go.

Lunch specials are the way to go. Also would recommend taking it to go. $6.95 for a huge lunch portion we can never finish. Also comes with a side of soup and an egg roll. Four stars because it's not the greatest, but will definitely satisfy your taste buds and wallet.

Yum-o. I usually get the Vegetable Moo Shu which is very fresh, and never overcooked. NO MSG at all. Lots of options and HUGE portions and enough leftovers for 2+ meals. Love this place.

Ok so I was visiting family in New Mexico and after partying at the Target we stopped by here for some to go meals. I love me some Asian cuisine and this hit the spot. The staff is very friendly and they had some great recommendations. I had been in New Mexico for about a week and everything had been a letdown, food wise that is. But this was some good traditional Chinese fast food just like in L.A. It is similar to a Panda Express menu but with more variety and better egg rolls. Also the noodles had a better texture than the dried out version panda serves. So try this place out because unfortunately New Mexico is still under development and doesn't have many options.

Lousy quality of chicken in my dish. Had to ask for duck sauce, noodles and soy sauce. Stale egg roll and very hard ( almost raw ) vegetables. Cleanliness of restaurant doesn't make up for lousy food.

Yes it is fast food chinese, but it is so damn good! I love this place. I love the lunch specials. They are very friendly here. We dined in once, had a good time, but usually its great for pick up. Kind of hidden on 528 hwy- look for it next to Albertsons. I love the hot and sour soup!!!!

The food is good, the service is fast and the place is very clean! My daughters enjoy the sweet and sour chicken while I like the chow mein. This is a locally-owned establishment and they take great pride in their business. I go often.

Heaven dragon? More like HEAVE dragon? This food is nothing more than a better selection of Mall Chinese food (think Panda Xpress, or that weird stuff from Cottonwood) I guess I'm being bias and stubborn since I lived in NYC my entire life, and quality Chinese food is all I know. I've been in NM and needed to feed my Chinese food craving, however I knew it wasnt going to be all that good when I saw a very Americanized staff. I ordered the lunch special with boneless ribs and fried rice. The ribs were rubbery and fatty, and the rice was undercooked. That was a waste of $7.00 HOWEVER I do have to admit that the crab rangoon was pretty OK, and that I would maybe order them again. Maybe I will give them another shot. Maybe it was a bad day for them but a rule of thumb for all to know: If there are no Chinese folks eating in a the chinese establishment you're ordering from.. Chances are.. the food is not so bueno. .

So the family didn't feel like cooking dinner so decided on ordering from here since it was close to home. Ordered the Beef w/vegetables, Chicken w/mushrooms, Spring rolls, and Shrimp egg foo young. The beef w/veg and the Shrimp egg foo young was actually very good; the chicken w/mushrooms however lacked taste. The sauce was weak so the mushrooms and the other veg that was in the dish didn't really go good together. The spring rolls (vegetable) also lacked in taste and was very plain. I grew up in Hawaii where we have a well rounded atmosphere of food cultures, and never have I had such plain tasting spring rolls like this. This place has decent Chinese food at a decent price. I mean, if I were to order the same food back in Hawaii, it would be twice as much!

I don't know who saw an Americanized staff, maybe just the waiting staff, but the cooks and owners are far from American, this is quality Chinese food. Beef is always tender and juicy. The crab Rangoon has become my new favorite as well. There are two Heaven dragon in rio rancho maybe one isn't good but this one on ridgecrest is good food.

Definitely friendly staff. The waiter here knows all dishes by heart and makes great recommendation. We ordered the Hunan Shrimp and it tasted smokey and flavorful accompanied with stir fried vegetables. I would come here again just for the friendly staff, but the fact that the food tastes good makes it even better!

All food tastes like it came out of a bag. The fried rice is horrible

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
